I took quite a few pictures of the ball in various stages of unwrapping:
Nice coloured ball
Black ball. This means not rare.
Clearly, the unboxing is meant to be the selling point here, more than the doll. Indeed, I found unwrapping all the layers fun, more fun than I expected. The little accessories were exciting, but a little too small to photograph. However, as an Angelz collector, the doll was the most important to me. I got Brr BB, and she didn't disappoint too much. She is very sweet:
I love her tanned skin and glittery blue eyes
Just the right amount of glitter
I did notice, however, a couple of things which I didn't think were too great. She's very stiff, which makes getting the clothes on and off very hard, and the clothes don't seem to fit that well. She also doesn't sit well. As a play doll, I think she'd be hard to use, but she's great as a display, collector's item. The included ball is great for this, but I couldn't work out how to use the other side as a table at all.
I got a few good pictures of her:
After I opened Brr BB, my first thought was: "I want to do that again!" I made myself wait a couple of weeks. Then I finally bought my second one, and opened her a couple of days later, I believe on 5 December (the same day I opened Marina). I was a little nervous about opening this one, concerned I'd get Brr BB again, and waste my money. However, as soon as I opened the bottle, I could see it was different, and so I had a different character. I was so relieved, and excited to open her. I got IT Baby:
I actually prefer her without the glasses:
Here they are together:
So sweet!
Here they are with Marina, my only glittery Angel:
You can see how small they are compared with her. They all have the oversized heads and eyes, and almost non-existent noses. However, the Angelz have much larger hands (and feet, although Marina doesn't have any!), and move much more easily. The LOLs can be found in shops at the moment, which is a great positive, but there is a risk of duplicates, which for such an expensive toy (£11!) means that I won't be collecting them all any time soon, though I may get a couple more at some point.
All in all, I had fun opening my sweet LOLs, although I'm going to stick with collecting just Angelz for the moment.
