Lil' LOL drama

I said I would post about my new LOLs, so here goes: I've already posted I got one on the same day I got Cloe (two weeks ago!). I should probably start by saying they are from the Glam Glitter series; I didn't think they were available any more, and indeed most of the stores I tried only had Bling Series or Hair Goals, and I did consider starting to collect these ones, but the last shop I went to had the Glam Glitter (maybe surplus stock?). I do want to try and get closer to finishing it, and I knew I might not see them again, so I bought one.

I waited a while in anticipation to open that first one, so I was rather disappointed to get a second IT Baby. The next week, I was fortunate to find another box of them, so I decided to get two, in case of another duplicate. This turned out to be a good move: the first one I opened was a duplicate, this time of The Queen. Most people would be so excited to get the "diamonds are forever" message, and white ball, but I was concerned, as the odds of getting Kitty Queen weren't high, and indeed, I didn't get her.

By this time, I was starting to feel pretty disillusioned, as I only had 3 distinct out of 5. Indeed, I was expecting another duplicate (probably Brr BB!) for the final one. However, I was thrilled when I found the "lights camera action" message, as I hadn't seen that one before. This meant one thing: I finally had a new doll! It turned out I got Coconut QT, who is very sweet, and quite a lot like Brr BB.

I really love this one.

With her "twin": same skin tone, and little freckles across the nose!

Even after the duplicates, I don't regret continuing my LOL collection: getting Coconut QT has made it all worth it. In fact, despite the rising risk of doubles, I've decided to keep growing my collection, and already bought two more! I must be mad.
