This shows her accessories well, although you can't see the litter sand or collector sheet (they were in the bottom of the box). You can also see the cardboard signs (they're not all that easy to read), although they don't say anything too interesting. Maya wets her diaper, and the pets wet their litterbox. Well, I won't be trying that any time soon, but I believe it!
I snapped this picture while she was still in the box. It shows her sweet, surprised and yet cheeky expression. That wide open mouth changes her face a lot!
After this, there was only one thing to do: start removing!
Hello, little white cat.
And you, little yellow dog.
Here they are together! They have such lovely eyelashes.
These pets are quite different to other pets: they don't have bobble heads for a start. They are also made of a much harder, shinier plastic (I suppose they are designed to hold water) and have holes in the mouths and underneath, to allow them to the "drink and wet" function.
Here is the (massive!) bottle. It's much bigger than the pets, and nearly as big as Maya. I think they'd explode if they tried to drink that much! You can't see it in the picture, but there's a small thin plastic part that fits into their tiny mouths.
Here is the litter tray (rather big for the small pets!); however, I prefer to use it as a chair (see later).
Here is the litter scoop. I can't say much about it, other than I do like the colour.
Here she is! A very well coordinated Maya. Her little t-shirt and knickers are quite different to the other Angelz' sleepsuits or dresses.
Here she is, using the litter tray as a chair! Her position makes it easiest for her to sit. This picture also shows just how shiny her limbs are.
Here's the naughty cat doing the same thing!
And the dog! Oh dear! You can see her little pink bow most clearly here.
Here are the three of the reunited. They've all got that surprised look!
Here are all the bits from the set, well, almost all. You can see the relative sizes well; it was clearly designed for small hands!
This is the litter sand. It's not the clearest picture - it's just plain white, in a bag with a serious amount of warnings on it. It looks rather messy and I think I will leave it in the bag!
I thought I'd compare Maya to Amy, considering they are Yasmins with the same hairstyle. You can see that Maya has much darker skin, and it's all over tougher and shinier. The limbs are also much stiffer (it takes quite a lot of effort to move them!). Maya also has much lighter hair and eye, although it might just be these specific dolls - there is quite a lot of variation in Yasmin hair and eye colours. Amy's head tips back a little, whereas Maya's doesn't - this isn't a defect. There are quite a number of Angelz positions. Amy's beauty spot is much more obvious than Maya's - again this varies. The only other difference I can think of is that Maya has a mouth, whereas Amy just has painted lips. Plus, I suppose Maya can pee - but I don't have a photo to show that!
Wow, that was a marathon! Overall, I'm very happy with my new Tiny Tinklez Angel, and in fact, I've continued collecting this set - check back soon for the upcoming posts!
