Celebrating 1 year

It's been exactly one year since I bought Ariel, and hence resumed collecting after a 6 year gap. I will give main summaries at the end of every calendar year, so this will be brief.

In short, I'm thrilled that I decided to make the move back to collecting. Although the 19 Angelz I've got this year may seem somewhat insignificant, each one is an integral part of my collection.

Some of my achievements during this year are that I have now completed the Fairy Talez set, and I'm very nearly there with the Mermaidz and Ballerinaz. I've also doubled the number of Sweet Scentz I had (5 to 10), and significantly increased the number of Cloes (18 to 25).

I'm not sure what the future might hold. An occasional one is still listed on eBay, but of course the odds of it being one I have already are growing. Quite a few are listed without pets. Although I may find the pets individually (it happened with Elena!), the odds are miniscule. At some point, I may make the decision to start focusing on the dolls, disregarding pets, but that's for another day.

It might not seem many, considering we're now in July, but I'm sure they will come and go in waves. I experienced a rush when I first resumed collecting last summer. I hope there's another one coming!
