In a way, I also missed out on her twice previously; about a year ago, I missed out on two separate bundles containing this same doll. One was part of a very large Sweet Scentz bundle, which I tried to get but was outbid on, and one was just this doll with a single Bratz Baby, which I decided not to buy as I had just bought quite a few other Angelz, and someone else ended up buying it. At that time, I chose out the name Beatrice for her, although I didn't have an Angel to actually use it.
I feel so lucky to finally have my own Beatrice now! I'm quite surprised to find the same Angel 3 times; I suppose it's possible my Beatrice was one of the earlier two, that the seller bought and then sold, although it's rather unlikely.
When she first arrived, I decided to give her a clean, and wash her clothes (as I don't know where second hand Angelz may have been stored!). Her outfit took forever to dry, so I took this photo to start with:
Her outfit is still a bit wet in the following photos, but I wanted to take them rather than wait.
Nice lavender outfit (the motif is a bit hard to see!). She doesn't smell at all, however. Otherwise she's in great condition; I can't see any marks on her.
The position of her legs mean she should be able to sit up straight, but I find it difficult to balance her.
The 5 18/19 Sweet Scentz. Only Maribel and Debbie still smell sweet!
Here is Beatrice with the only other Vinessa I have here, Naomi:
I think I now have every Vinessa except one, the very first Original one. I got quite a few when I first started collecting, as she's one of my favourite characters.
Here's one last picture of Beatrice, together with Ellen:
They have the same hairstyle, although Ellen has highlights and Beatrice doesn't. They'd probably suit each other's hair ties better! Beatrice's do seem mismatched with her outfit.
I'm so pleased with little Beatrice, and she was worth the wait. I can't wait to add more to my collection!
